DR. George Tran - D.C.

Dr. George Tran was born and raised in Lethbridge, Alberta. At an early age he has developed an interest in health, fitness and contemporary alternative medicine. He always knew that he wanted to help people and serve the community. Dr. Tran is a gym fanatic, enjoys playing golf in the summer and snowboarding in the winter. He attended University of Lethbridge where he took his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. He then moved to Toronto, Ontario where he graduated with a Doctorate in Chiropractic with Clinic Honours from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College. He moved back to Lethbridge in 2013 and has been practicing and serving his community ever since. He is very excited to join the East Meets West team and to grow as a professional and help as many people as he can.
Dr. Tran uses a diversified technique, with treatments consisting of soft tissue work (muscle/instrument assisted soft tissue therapy or thumper), adjustments, activator (gentle instrument assisted adjustment), mobilizations, active functional rehabilitative exercises and stretches as well as lifestyle/nutritional counselling and education. Dr. Tran integrates a number of different techniques to ensure each patient receives a customized, thorough and effective treatment. He enjoys working with a wide range of patients from infants to the elderly, office workers to athletes and offers custom-made orthotics.
Dr. Tiffanee McArthur - D.C.
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Tiffanee McArthur is originally from Dubuque, Iowa and has received chiropractic care since she was an infant. The benefits she has received from chiropractic care for migraines, sport injuries, and general spinal pain is what sparked her interest in the profession. Dr. McArthur is passionate about helping others through conservative approaches and enjoys the hands-on approach of chiropractic. Dr. McArthur graduated from the University of Dubuque in Iowa with a Bachelor of Science degree. She then moved to Davenport, Iowa where she completed her doctorate degree and was honoured as class salutatorian at Palmer College of Chiropractic in February 2019. While in chiropractic school, she met her husband who is from Saskatchewan and decided to move with him to Canada. Dr. McArthur fell in love with the Lethbridge area and is excited to start her career at East Meets West and provide patient-centered care to the community.
Dr. McArthur uses a variety of manual therapy techniques including Diversified and Motion Palpation. She also utilizes soft tissue techniques (instrument-assisted and myofascial release), low-force adjustments (drops and activator), and home exercises. Dr. McArthur understands that a unique, tailored treatment plan for each patient is the best form of care and enjoys treating all age groups. Her goal is to empower each patient to conquer their pain in order to be able to do what they love each and every day.
